Teacher to Child Ratio

The teacher to child ratio is perhaps one of the most important questions on every parent’s mind. This is because the quality of an early childhood education program is heavily dependent on the staffing model designed for each classroom. At A Child’s University, the teacher to child ratio we follow is one of our core offerings to a child and their family. We have an abundance of Team Members ranging from management members to community teachers.

The following is an in-depth look into how we staff each classroom and how our staffing model exceeds the State of Rhode Island requirements. We also have a vast community teachers list so we can call in trained, experienced school-wide teachers whenever a regular teacher is absent. This keeps our classrooms operating at optimal levels, prevents present teachers from feeling overburdened, and ensures that children receive the one-on-one interaction that is essential for their growth and development.
